This pattern is in Danish.
October collar chunky edition is knitted from top to bottom in e.g. camel from A Knitters World or Northern Lights from BC Yarn to create that chunky feel and look. It is folded up with Italian stitch and knitted further in rib in the neck. To form the collar piece, recesses are made to make the stripes wider. It is closed with ordinary loose closure. It is inspired by the classic neck brace, and covers both neck and chest for the cold winter days. Remember to make a knitting sample and read the whole pattern before starting.
